A LITERATURA PARA BEBÊS COMO POTENCIALIZADORA DO DESENVOLVIMENTO AFETIVO NA PRIMEIRA INFÂNCIA
Resumo
Este artigo tem como objetivo principal analisar a importância da literatura na primeira infância, especialmente na vida dos bebês, considerando seu papel no desenvolvimento emocional, cognitivo e social. Busca-se compreender como as práticas literárias, como contação de histórias, cantigas e exploração de livros, importantes para que o bebê seja reconhecido enquanto leitor ativo, participativo no processo de construção de sentidos. Além disso, visa discutir a contribuição dessas práticas em consonância com as diretrizes da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) para a Educação Infantil, evidenciando o desenvolvimento global da criança. Metodologia, a pesquisa fundamenta-se em uma revisão bibliográfica e documental, envolvendo autores e estudos que abordam o desenvolvimento infantil, a literatura para bebês, e o campo da educação infantil conforme as orientações da BNCC. De acordo com os resultados foi possível concluir que a literatura infantil potencializa o desenvolvimento infantil.

Abstract
This article's main objective is to analyze the importance of literature in early childhood, especially in the lives of babies, considering its role in emotional, cognitive, and social development. The aim is to understand how literary practices, such as storytelling, songs, and exploring books, are important for babies to be recognized as active readers, participating in the process of constructing meaning. Furthermore, it aims to discuss the contribution of these practices in line with the guidelines of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) for Early Childhood Education, highlighting the child's overall development. The research methodology is based on a bibliographic and documentary review, involving authors and studies that address child development, literature for babies, and the field of early childhood education, according to the BNCC guidelines. Based on the results, it was possible to conclude that children's literature enhances child development.
